Silly Season - December 31st - New Years Eve

Firstly i want to wish everyone an AWESOME New Years Eve and all the best for the New year to come!

Well Lilli got a swing set for Christmas and on the Eve of the big day, Daddy, Uncle Ray Ray and Chris'o were building it with the help of the instruction booklet! So with the rain falling from the sky and working under the light from a fluro.... it all came to a speedy halt when they found that the box of brackets for the swings were missing from the 1000 piece setting!

OMG.... So Merry Christmas Lilli... here is your swing set that is missing the swings and is pouring rain so you can't even slide down the slippery slide!

And today for the first time the kids got to play on the climbing wall and the slide... (the brackets are on the way)!!!!

Silly Season - December 30th

Not really anything to do with Christmas for today's post! Although the shirt Lilli is wearing was a present from Mama! ;) Anyway..... This morning, when the Sun finally showed it's face in how long!!!!???? We took the opportunity to get back outside with the munchkins and do some long awaited shots with Baby Lucie and her big Brother Lucas..... Which you can check out on Nikki's blog!

I just hung around taking a couple of pics as well!



And just as we were packing up the 'footpath'... Lucas and Lilli had a moment of being super nice to each other!

Silly Season - December 29th

This was taken on Christmas Day after an Epic fail of getting all the Great Grand kids to sit on Nik's bed together! :(

Lilli, had decided that she would ignore me and that maybe i'd diassapear! LOL.... Little did she know that Mummy can take a picture in the mirror too! Ner ner ner ner!!!!!

Silly Season - December 27th

The Fraser family came to Gladstone for a CHRISTMAS holiday this year and I was lucky enough to catch up with them!! Lilli was a little overwelmed at first as she is normally surrounded by crazy boys! But she finally warmed up to them all! They were all super good and played well!!!

Silly Season - December 25th - Christmas Day!

And i said i was going to post pictures of our dessert!

Well..... It was so yum and i'm so full still, that i can't bring myself to editing the food pics.... I could possibly be sick if i look at any more food! SORRY, but i will post them tomorrow!

We had Pavlova with Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and a ton of cream.... and a Choc bailey's ripple cake log! Oh... and white christmas with a twist!

Anyway enough with food (for a month)!!!

Silly Season - December 24th

Christmas Eve!!!! Woo hooooo..... The big day is almost upon us! I spent half the day at Nik's helping with some preparations (although Steff just thinks we sit around talking and Drinking coffee), We didn't have one single coffee while we were sitting down! ;P

Anyway, on with today's pic..... Our Christmas Lunch for tomorrow, Citrus and Ginger glazed ham that will be served cold with pork, chicken, wombok salad, cous cous and cranberry salad, creamy potato salad and tomato and corn salsa! And little bake in the oven rolls! Mmmmmm Yummo......




And Dessert..... Well, i'll leave you to think about that and i'll post pics tomorrow.... if i don't get carried away with eating it first!

Silly Season - December 20th

This is Grayson, smiling.... believe it or not! We didn't think she'd be home for Xmas but she decieded that it was much more fun at home with all of us instead of in Cairns! She's awesome!!!!

And she's been told about Santa claus..... If she doesn't believe.... She doesn't receive!!! ;)

Just over a year ago when i was just learning with Nik's D80 (Her back up camera).... Poor Bella was my target..... she couldn't run away!

So i was planning to get one of Bella this year for my Silly season post's but they left 2 days ago on holiday til after Christmas! So i decided to use a couple from my practice session on her last year! She was just 3 mths old! I think i may have improved just a little bit!?? Lets hope so!

One of our Christmas presents came a little earlier then expected this year!

Lucie was due to make her first appearence in our lives on Wednesday 15th December... but she had different ideas! She preffered the 13th!

Mum and baby are dong well. Lucie weighed an awesomely healthy 8 pound, 12 ounces!

Silly Season - December 13th

Lilli had an awesome day at Rachels (day care) today! She got an Ariel the mermaid bubble blower present from Rachel, a gift from Zane and Reese left under the tree, all day playing with just Lucas and Rachel!

And Mummy and Daddy got an early pressie from Lilli - A book of photos, drawings and paintings from this year at Rachels!

She also got to bring home the decorations she's been working so hard on finishing....

Well this may not be too christmass-y but they were 'Given' to me this month (December) by some one I love and care about very much..... Teag's bought me these flowers the other day cause she LOVES me and i'm super AWESOME!!! And something about "Doing too much for her" ;P But i'm her big sister and i would do anything possible to make her happy!
