Lucas,, Lilli and Lucie joined in the fun at Georgie's 2nd Birthday!! Homemade playdough, Lucie thought it tasted yummy! Mia The Birthday Girl's, Curls!!! Painting - Lucie, tried eating that too ;P And there was NO Way Aunty Lis was going to stop her! Time for a Tresure hunt and the best part.... Upsy Daisy Birthday cake! There's no place like home except Nana's

and we spent alot of our lives growing up at Nan and Grandad's!!! So when things all started 'falling apart' last year (Grandad 'flying' off the roof, Nana diagnosed with parkinsons and a few other issues) It was THE hardest decision we all had to make for them both to be placed into Aged Care. It's taken 6 months and a zillion tears but they are starting to accept that this is the best place for them and not any one of us could give them the care and looking after that they need and deserve and will need in the future. All the Staff and Nurse's are amazing and love Nan and Grandad like their own. So..... We still visit as much, if not more then before. I just wanted to show you their 'New place' The Art room, where our kids can hang out and make stuff! There is always something happening, Trips on the boat, singing and dancing, Bingo in the Eden room. Movies in the Theatre. Or they can just hang out in the Quiet room, Library or TV room and play cards and stuff.... When we go visit, we take the kids down to the outdoor area to play on the playground, look at the pretty flowers in the Gardens and get a coffee at the cafe! And here are some of the 'other' residents! George And Jake This is Felix (The Cat) And.. Lilli's favourite, Rusty the miniture 'Moodle' With Nan and G'dad LOVE them loads!!!
