I Know....

I've been MEGA lazy lately but i'm hoping this post makes up for some of the slackness!!!

Our 'Good Friday' started with Adam finishing up on nightshift and heading down to the Harbour Festival markets nice and early! LOVE the markets... only to get down there and for the first time EVER! Yes.... EVER!! That the ground was so soaking wet that they weren't allowed to go ahead with the markets in case of damaging the grass... um... HUH?? What about all us Gladstone-ites that look forward to having a browse? Then heading over to the Festival for a look around!

So after the shock of NO MARKET DAY! Adam, Lilli and I went for a wander throught the festival and Lilli had a ride on the merry-go-round and Daddy won her a little purple penguin worth about $2 but the ball thowing side show charged us $10 for 3 throws! RIP OFF! But Lilli was happy! LOL.

We finished off our day with some of the Family (others working) for an Easter egg/lolly hunt at Nik and Steff's place! I have some snapshots from our day! Minus Wyatt... Who was so busy beating everyone to finding the hiden choccies, that there was definately NO time for photos! Enjoy!

Project 52 - Week 16 - Tansport/Journey

Pushing the theme to it's 'Limits' ..... Maybe!

to hang around at the local cemetery while the crazy photogs in the family take pics of you!!!

These are a little different to the normal 'Bright, fun' stuff. Tried a couple new black and white's, not 100% LOVING them but hey.... It's a blog post!!! LOL




And my Favourite from the afternoon! (i promised an Ice cream for this one)


Might even get out to do some fireworks this week.... But NO promises! ;P

Project 52 - Week 15 - Tansport/Journey

So all my life.... I've thought that easter bunny hops around Australia on a back of Kangaroo's to deliver his eggs to all the children! But...... I've be wrong ;P



If i don't get to blog again before Easter.... Which is highly likely seen as though i've been mega slack! I wish all of you and your families a happy and safe Easter break!!!

Special People!

We LOVE our family and Love spending time with each other.... Soppy? Yeah i know... Sorry! But 2 very Special people that play a massive part in all our lives are our Nan and Grandad! So when they need a hand with anything, we are more than happy to help!

So Nan has had a few test and scans lately and normally.... she can NEVER wait to open the results and read them herself, but these ones were a little different and they remained sealed until her next visit to the specialist in Rockhampton. Adam, Lilli and I took Nan and Grandad to Rocky for her appt. on Wednesday! We had big plans to head to the shops and get some 'Fruitiyama' for lunch after the appointment... but i had to ruin all those plans by getting a blurry 'Aura' vision migraine!

So while i lay on the couch in the Dr's waiting room, waiting for Nan to come out from her appt... I just 'stressed' a little more. Anyway, the happy face (results are CLEAR) that i seen walking out of Dr's surgery almost instantly fixed my head! But not enough to go shopping :( :(

We grabbed some 'Fast' lunch and pulled up at a shady park, sat down, ate our lunch and even fed the ducks!! Lilli thought it was great! I made a point of tellling Adam not to stand under one of the trees as there were 3 crows hangin around for some scraps! Well i should kept my bloody mouth shut.... Because just as we were about to leave, yep, bird POOP right on MY chest! That just made my freaking day! Thank God i'm the 'photographer'!

So enough rambling, these pics made up for the crappy day that was thankfully behind me now!

Project 52 - Week 14 - Hands

If you hadn't noticed, i normally post even if 'Family Friday' doesn't happen, and... well.... it didn't happen, because of the freaking RAIN AGAIN!!!! Come on Mother Nature.... give us a break, at least on Friday afternoons!!!

March has been a pretty full on month.... Went so bloody fast! So beacuse i've been mega slack and actually haven't picked up my camera (other then to move it) in almost 10 days.... I thought i'd make it up to you all with a little picture 'Wrap Up' of the month of March!

So here goes.....

We met a New addition to our 'extended' family - Maddison


And... There were lots of storms!


Lilli's Friend - Indie turned 2 and we shared her special 'Pink' day!


Lucie just.... 'Grew up'


Adam and Chriso went fishing in the pouring rain and sludging through mud to bring home 1 fish and 1 mud crab! Really...? Was it worth the effort! ;P


Lilli has made a new friend with Brodie (Adam works with his Daddy). Brodie LOVES the pink car!

I FINALLY got to have a Mini photo shoot with Mia and her awesome 'Chubby' sister Georgie!!

The first EVER set of Twins that IPQ art got the chance to photograph.... Turned the big number 1.... This is Elara! Arthur was to interested in Nikki and her camera!


I shot my first Family session up town for my neighbours!!


And a long time friend turned 28 Again (41). Happy 41st Birthday Blakey, hope you had a lovely night!




Teags and I are still keeping up with out 'Punch Fit' sessions on Mondays and Thursday's with these awesome Ladies below... Jodie and Stacy (Who is also Personal Training us now)! Thanks Stace... You rock!
